Stephen S. Parker
CPA - Controller
Born in Pekin, Illinois, Steve graduated from Oswego High School and received a B.S. in Accounting from Northern Illinois University. While at NIU in the late 1960's, Steve's academic pursuits were supplemented by his athletic prowess, where he led the NIU Huskies as their starting quarterback in 1969. After graduation, Steve became a Certified Public Accountant, working for Apple Tree Stereo in DeKalb before beginning a full-time career in public accounting as a partner in the firm of Schafer, Morrasy and Parker. He later left public accounting to serve as Chief Financial Officer for Creative Calligraphy in DeKalb, where he worked with his artist wife, Lynn Norton Parker, for 20 years. Steve was an owner of OC Imageworks in DeKalb until that business was sold, and then re-entered the world of public accounting as a consultant for several area businesses before accepting the position of Controller with our firm. An avid and talented grandpa, Steve lives in DeKalb with his wife, Lynn.
Jessica M. Magaña
Senior Paralegal - Staff Manager, Certified Paralegal, ILAP
Jessica joined our staff in 2009 as a legal assistant. She graduated from Rockford Career College in Fall 2009, earning her Associate of Applied Science Paralegal. She lives with her husband and two dogs in Rochelle.

Alissa S. Pinne
Legal Assistant
Born in DeKalb, raised in Genoa. Alissa spends her free time with family and friends. She resides in her hometown of Genoa with her two children. She is a member of the 2023 Sycamore Leadership Academy.
Brianna R. Perkins
Paralegal
Born in Geneva, Illinois, and raised in Leland. Brianna attended Waubonsee Community College for an Associates Degree and then graduated with a Bachelor of Science and Legal Studies Program in 2014 from Illinois State University to achieve a paralegal degree. Joined the firm in May of 2024 with a background in personal injury law and extensive experience in Trust Administration. She currently lives in Genoa, Illinois, enjoying the small-town community with her boyfriend.
Vanh Kongkousonh
Legal Assistant
Born in Silvis and raised in the Quad Cities. Vanh graduated from Northern Illinois University in 2019 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Development and Family Sciences with an emphasis in Family Social Services and a minor in Psychology. In October 2022, Vanh became a Certified Domestic Violence Professional for the State of Illinois. Vanh currently resides in DeKalb and enjoys spending time with her family and friends in her free time.
Roxanne J. Scott
Receptionist
Born in Rockford, raised in DeKalb, Roxanne spends her free time with family and friends. She enjoys being outdoors, traveling, and family movie nights. She resides in Sycamore with her husband, two daughters, and dogs Giovanni and Beanie.
Savannah P. Drake
Receptionist
Born and raised in Sycamore, Savannah is a graduate of Sycamore High School. In her free time, she enjoys traveling across the country to explore new destinations, as well as spending quality time with her dog and birds. Savannah joined the firm in early 2024 and currently serves as the receptionist at the front desk.
Emily E. Moore
Law Clerk
Born in Sacramento and raised in Temecula, California. Emily graduated from the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 2022 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and a minor in Political Science. Emily began law school at Northern Illinois University College of Law in August 2022 and will be graduating in May 2025.
Samantha L. Zekoff
Administrative Assistant
Born in Sycamore, Illinois, Samantha joined our staff in 2012. She focuses on marketing, client service, and assisting the Managing Partner and the Controller. Samantha will be shifting her educational focus to business management after studying biology thus far. Samantha and her husband live in Cherry Valley with their children and two dogs.
