Goodbye 2016 and Hello 2017

And we're back!  It's been a while since you've heard from us.  We had an exciting 2016 with the hiring of our newest attorney, Justyna Palasiewicz (bio here) and the various events that were attended (pictures here).   We are looking forward to another great year sharing with you new events and legal updates.

The first big news we have to share in 2017 is the announcement of a new Partner, Jill M. Tritt. (article here).   Please continue to watch for more news and helpful tips as the year continues. 

Do-it-Yourself Beware:

There are many things that cross our minds at the beginning of a new year: resolutions, long to-do lists of things we want to accomplish, and new milestones in our lives.  We are here to help you plan for those milestones whether they be a new child, grandchild, or changing marital status.  Estate planning can be difficult for some people to discuss or act on and we strive to make the process as comfortable as possible.  There are several options available for you to plan with, including numerous online forms.  However, as with anything online you should exercise caution.  We found in another newsletter a good example of how doing it yourself can lead to unfortunate results. Mid-Year School Supply Drive

We are a donation site for the Salvation Army's mid-year school supply drive benefitting the DeKalb School District.  Donations can be dropped off to our office from now until Friday, February 17th. Suggested Donation List
